ONLINE REGISTRATION & LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS

1. Thoroughly read the following information and the “FAQ/Tech Help” section. Note the common user errors and questions we receive. This section addresses the majority of user problems. Always refer to this section before calling our tech line with questions.
2. Once you have familiarized yourself with the “FAQ/Tech Help” section, read the Terms and Conditions section. If you wish to participate in the online auctions click the “I Agree” link at the bottom of this page. This will open the Login / Registration page.
3. Once the Login/Registration page opens new bidders will need to click on the button labeled “REGISTER” located in the lower center of that page. The registration box will open. Complete all information requested and make sure you have entered your email address correctly. Register Only Once! An inactive bid number and password will be sent to the email address you specified in your registration immediately. This is an automated system and any spam blockers should be disabled prior to registering.
4. Once registered you must request your bank or lender to fax a letter of reference on their bank letterhead to: Steffes Auctioneers, Attn: Online Auction Division – fax # 320-693-9373 or email to roger@steffesauctioneers.com A formal letter of credit is not required but we do require a letter of reference from your bank or lender on their letterhead stating you are a customer in good standing. There are no exceptions to this. Due to hundreds of registrations, this letter is used to verify that you registered and prevents false registrations or registrations by minors . Upon receipt of your bank letter of reference we will activate your bid number and password for online bidding. This becomes your permanent online auction bid number and password. You will then have access to all future online auctions held by Steffes Auctioneers with that same bid number and password. NOTE: Registrations and reference letters must be received at our office a minimum of 24 hrs prior to an auction to guarantee your bid number and password will be activated in time for that auction.
5. AUCTION LOGIN: Once your bid number and password have been activated you will be ready to bid live online or place absentee online bids at all of our future online auctions. Simply click the “I Agree” link below the terms and conditions. The login page will open. Enter your permanent bid number and password in the respective boxes and click the login button. You are now ready to bid online!
